Recently I found this trail on one of my long Saturday runs; it is on the Northeast side of town and is just perfect for running.
I almost have it figured out to where I can probably get to this trail and back home in about an hour, but I have to hit it again when I have the chance. Will that be today? I don’t know. . . the verdict is still out on that one because a technician from Siemens is supposed to be in today to repair the machine I am supposed to be cutting parts on at work. If that happens my 8-hour day instantly becomes a 10-hour day, and possibly will stay that way for the foreseeable future, which will put a stop to my weekday running altogether. That’s more than just a little depressing.
My only option then is to start running at 4:30 in the morning, when I get up. The problem with that – that’s usually when I am doing other stuff. So I really need to rearrange my schedule if I don’t want to be pushed right back out of my running like I was last year. Maybe I should just kiss that marathon goodbye. Again.
Here’s the icing for this cake: I forgot my banana so I don’t get to eat today.
