Waiting for the bus –
Stander,
Loner,
Lounger.
Same venue,
Different lives moving in different directions.
Destined to disappear
Into days of violence and silence –
Digital footprints
Just shadows,
Evidence of their auspicious passing.
This week’s post was prompted by the Trifextra writing challenge: 33 words based on the given photo.
I love the line, days of violence and silence. Thanks for linking up!
You bet!
Beautiful interpretation of the photo. I love your description for the figures — “Stander, Loner, Lounger”. There’s a lot to consider from those terms alone.
For me, the three evoked different attitudes – different approaches to life. But they’re loaded with meaning. Thanks for the kind words and for commenting!
lots of mournful posts with this solemn picture prompt.
Indeed, maybe we should have posted some more joyful ones!
I love the direction (so to speak) you went with this. I like the idea of everybody at a bus stop with different lives and different destinations. I wonder where the lounger’s going?
That is a good question. Maybe destined for a PhD? 🙂 thanks for sharing your thoughts!
SO HAPPY you tri-d .. gbd this is wonderful…far better than my 33!
Love you brother!
Oh, I don’t think in terms of better or worse – I liked your tri very much!
I like the stander, loner, lounger descriptions.
Thank you!
Riveting!
Thanks, come by any time!
Interesting, thinking of digital remnants as shadows. I like that.
Thanks for stopping and sharing, Draug!
