It feels like a buzz;
I feel the follicles
rising like gooseflesh on my scalp,
electricity humming from my ears
up into the center of my head
and out through my hair.
It feels like a chill;
As the tingles run up and down my spine
and I shiver with delight,
I feel that sensation meet the buzz
at the base of my brain,
and they dance like crazies.
Oh, that endorphin rush!
It runs down my arms
making the hair stand on end –
more gooseflesh.
While I know that this party in my brain must end,
I just enjoy the buzz for now.
