Ripples become waves
as moments shared multiply —
all change starts in me.

    • I was thinking about no man being an island and ended up reflecting that a moment spent in isolation is really one per person, but a moment shared actually does the work of two or more as each who shares in it draws experience from that one moment; so it becomes a sort of conservational concept in a way, and also a testament to the power of community that the usefulness of spacetime can scale to accommodate many people at once. And then each observer has the power to affect the moment, thereby causing a ripple effect as each other viewer goes on to affect others in their lives. At the same time, the changer is changed by their own actions, so that no person who entered that moment leaves as the same person.
