This is so funny, Rob. I love the way you handled it in your haiku. Yes, not trying to find some way to fill the hole in your life can be termed complacent and, at the same time, the wound in your soul can be called a particular part of you, and makes its own kind of beautiful music.
Yeah, and I really like how it’s saying “instead of trying to fill that hole, why not accept that it’s a part of who you are?” I hadn’t considered the music angle though. 🙂
