He opened the viewfinder and selected a year –
Back when life grew.
It was marvelous – so tough to pick one day.
Because no matter which season, it was a sight for sore eyes.
This week’s post was prompted by the Trifextra writing challenge: in a nutshell, 33 positive words using the picture and video.

Yes, all seasons are beautiful!
Agreed, and each one arrives precisely on time. 🙂
I really like the ending. It’s so true. There is something beautiful about every time of year. Great job!
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Isn’t it odd how our time, in hindsight and while occurring, has the capability to speed up or slow down…such a strange beautiful world, lovely brother.
Too true!
A very wistful approach. Sometimes we would like to go back.
That’s true. How much harder it would be after the extinction of nature, too!
It is indeed tough to pick one day. All are so beautiful in their own way. Great job!
Indeed, and thank you. 🙂
Very nice. A pensive sort of feel. Perfect for a little weekend read.

Thanks, I appreciate the compliments! 😀
Looks like the scene outside my window, always a relief from the maddening world around. Great entry!
If that was the view outside my window I’d be calling my optometrist for an eye exam!
Ha ha, thanks.

You bet, thank you! 🙂
I agree. Earth is definitely my favorite planet so far! 😀
🙂
Oh yes, every season is beautiful – its just our attitude to them that needs a little tweaking every now and again.
I agree, absolutely. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. 🙂

This is lovely.
Thanks!
Every day is indeed a blessing. Well expressed.
Thank you 🙂
Each day has it’s own beauty… great take.
Thank you. 🙂
Maybe it’s the frame of mind I’m in lately, but I read this as a sort of post-apocalyptic sci-fi sort of thing, like he was looking back in time to when the world was full of life. In any case, I loved it.
No, that’s how I was writing it. You got it in one! The idea is this guy has some access – whether limited or complete is left to the imagination – via a machine which presents a year on the view screen as slices, much like an MRI machine does, except whereas the slices over space presents a contiguous image, the slices over time comes out a little differently. Of course what a lot of commenters are pointing out stands as the main message, the milieu is what you’re picking up on. Thanks for the love! 🙂
You still got in a little apocalypse, didn’t you? 😉 Still, I love the idea of remembering a beautiful world. Thanks for linking up. Don’t forget to vote.
My little way of saying “don’t let it slip between your fingers!” I’ll be sure to vote! 🙂
