This is where we are today for my niece’s birthday party: little Harmon Lake is almost hidden, nestled away in the farm- and ranch land Northwest of Mandan. Developments are just beginning to start here, but for now the wind blows as strong as it does in the open prairie, pushing up nice little waves in the lake that break diagonally to the shore; it’s perfect surfing, if you happen to know any 2-inch-tall surfers!

Well said, Max. I hold out hope that some day the human race will find a way to live in harmony with nature in a sustainable symbiosis.
well said brother
Rob, I live 30 mins away from a beach called Surfer’s Paradise. It is beautiful here in Australia. All down the east coast from north of Brisbane to Victoria, we have beautiful surf beaches. Also in West Australia too. Now, THIS country is a secret Surfing Paradise too! The rest of the world has no idea how lucky we are!
Those of us who follow surf culture have some idea, but I would certainly like to see it with my own eyes someday!
Good luck in that endeavour! I am looking forward to comparing it with California when I visit one day.
And good luck to you. 🙂
[…] don’t think that I wouldn’t and eventually will! The closest I think I have gotten is my post from the secret surfing paradise; also, I have blogged while camping before, but I don’t think that’s strange as such. […]
