Memories do fade;
even newer ones degrade–
never kept nor lost.

I ran across this this morning on a blog called Flickr Comments. I thought it was very nice and worth sharing.

    1. Thanks – I think! I actually hope for things like this, where people take something away from it other than I had in mind when I wrote it. That’s how you know it lives. This is definitely one of my personal favorites.

  1. LOL I started hearing this as soon as I pulled up my reader this morning and couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. I thought I was losing my marbles. (I only have a very few left rolling around up there) I really like it. I had no idea it was a Russian melody, but totally makes sense that it is. =)

    1. You know what??? The same thing happened to me too, and I was like, ‘that’s gotta be coming from a post, how crazy is that?’ and I’m scrolling up and down the reader and I fell in love with the piece before I even found where it was coming from. I was so inspired by how that happened. 🙂
