Culmination
For the moment I’ll
be incommunicado–
today is the day.
Today is closing day. Our house is empty and for a short while we will technically be homeless. I’ll be a busy man, and then pretty soon We will be back on daily life’s sweet rhythm. As for the picture – well, I had the pleasure of staying in this room on two occasions when this hibiscus had bloomed; surely it’s a sign from the Creator.
Good luck with the move – and many warm blessings for your new home!
Thank you Tiare! Now htat we have Internet I’m swimming in a backlog of followers’ likes and comments, and that’s a fine blessing to start with!
Happy moving, Rob. Have fun.
Fun!!! Lol I’m having a little more fun at my regular old life now. 😀
Are you kidding? Moving is fun. Granted packing and unpacking is no fun, but you get to figure out where everything goes. That’s fun!
I’ll give you that. 🙂
Moving is so stressful, but if you’re calm enough to write poetry you’re doing good. Best of luck.
for some days, my morning haiku was the calmest part. Now the Internet is installed, and my peace is complete. Long live the web. 🙂
Best of luck with the move, Rob!
Thanks Andra. We actually did pretty good – in fact, because we negotiated an early move-in, we managed to leave the oldhouse with (I believe) less in it than when we moved in, which is kind of a win if one is keeping score. Regardless, considering that the process of loan pre-approval and purchase are designed to stress homebuyers to the limit, I think we came out looking pretty swell. 🙂
