discovered its path
having seen the horizon
a climbing beetle
For the time being I am not going to shoot for getting the Daily Haiku posted in the morning, but will work on it as breaks allow throughout the day. I’m doing this for a few reasons — for one, I want to focus on achieving the greatest fitness possible in preparation for Clan Ross’ summer surf adventure, and the morning is the best time for me to exercise. I also want to leave the house early enough to get to work on time without having to take the highway at 90 miles an hour, which is stressful in various ways. Finally, I want to focus on finding a new job that pays more and requires me to work less — plus such a move may allow us to spend five extra days on vacation, and that means more beaches and more surfing. π
Wish me luck.
Ummm where does it go next? I know they say the only way is up, but I have concerns for this little beetle!
P.s Good Luck π
For most, the high point gives you a vantage, but the path is ever on the ground; the best thing to do is turn the right way and then go forward in the spirit of adventure.
P.S. Thank you! π
WOW… sounds like you have quite a few irons in the fire… =) Good luck with the move and job search… should like you all have a plan and it is feasible, which is always a good thing ! =) Work hard with the exercise, you are sure to achieve your goals. =) Enjoy your weekend, Rob !
Thanks Tish, you too! π
Best of luck. Having only recently discovered your little haikus, I’ll miss them but will be vigilant about tracking them down when they appear. How about a haiku on driving 90?
If the moment comes, I will certainly grace you with a pingback. π
Dang, I’m already composing it.
Oh, and the haiku aren’t going anywhere, I’ll just be posting them later on most days, so if you tend to check earlier you might wind up a day behind — that’s how I keep up on the Daily Show via Hulu, and I find it does nothing to mitigate the experience. π
Thanks for enjoying the haiku, Jann!
Daily we do the Hulu
No matter the ebb and flow

Truly a haiku for the modern mind. π

Good luck with everything
Thank you. π
I hope that all your goals, plans and dreams and wishes come true. You deserve to have better health, less stress and better pay for a guy who works as hard as you do Rob! So – forwards – march – actually May – onto better things for you and the Ross Clan!
Thank you, and yes’m!
