Beginning I

Box by box unpacked,
a space for writing is shaped —
finding my feng shui.

We have so much to do when we are moving from one house to the next. I, for one, didn’t think to call the cable company until a few days before closing and so of course we have to wait until Wednesday to get our Internet hooked up. I’m posting from the phone for now, and forsaking formatting!

This post was prompted by this week’s Daily Post Photo Challenge.

Haiku: Commune

“And there are never really endings, happy or otherwise. Things keep going on, they overlap and blur, your story is part of your sister’s story is part of many other stories, and there is no telling where any of them may lead.”
― Erin Morgenstern, The Night Circus

Haiku: Visionary

“Let the future tell the truth, and evaluate each one according to his work and accomplishments. The present is theirs; the future, for which I have really worked, is mine.”
– Nikola Tesla

Haiku: Renewal

“. . . life is the principle of self-renewal, it is constantly renewing and remaking and changing and transfiguring itself, it is infinitely beyond your or my obtuse theories about it.”
― Boris Pasternak, Doctor Zhivago
