So… how incredible does it have to be?

Have you ever received such incredible news that you briefly went insane?

I think if I got this incredible news, the first thing I’d do is jump up and yell “yes!” I’d start fist-pumping the air while singing Cotton-eyed Joe. Then I think a few cartwheels might be in order, followed by several backflips and an entire set of twenty-five jumping jacks. If any surplus energy remains, then it can easily be burned off with burpees. Then when the initial excitement wore off I might text my wife and then resume my normal life already in-progress.

Is that what you wanted to hear, Daily Post?

Once upon a time I spent a lot of energy and time trying to locate a friend of mine. When she finally got a hold of me, she had called my work and left a message for me. When I received her name and phone number written on a Post-it note, I actually whooped. That was a boon to me when I was having a hard time, and these are the friends that I ended up moving in with when I moved out of the condo which I was losing in a foreclosure. I wrote about that one before, and that’s as close as I’ve ever gotten to the “incredible news” scenario.
