Hey hey, look who’s on the ball tonight (I have got you so smoked – you have no clue how weird it is that I am actually finding the time to do this!)

I’m going to be honest: In the month of January alone – where I thought the genre haiku challenge would bail me right out of the boat – but it turned out that in addition to my own haiku, we received thirteen wonderful submissions about such awesome people as: Mother Theresa, Anne McCaffrey, Anne Boleyn, Chuck Yeager, JED’s wife – and do you know what? Surprisingly, we didn’t get a single serial killer, not one Hitler or Nero . . . just people we admire for their courage, their strength, and their will to defeat the odds, whatever those might be; may we all take inspiration from their examples. Take a moment to read some haiku and be inspired by the personalities behind them!
